I tailor therapy to the unique needs of each individual, drawing from an integrative approach shaped by over 30 years in mental health.
My goal is to support meaningful change and lasting emotional wellness.
I have spent more than 30 years working in the mental health field, with my clinical work shaped by both professional training and lived experience. I became a licensed psychotherapist in 2018 after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in Minneapolis, MN. I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across a wide range of concerns.
My background includes experience as an HIV/AIDS educator and counselor, working with at-risk adolescents and adults, and supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, identity-related concerns, addictive behaviors, and major life transitions. I am also a Certified Transgender Care Therapist (CTCT) and trained clinical sexologist, providing informed, gender-affirming care when this is part of an individual’s therapeutic work.
I take an integrative, individualized approach to therapy, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, existential therapy, reality therapy, mindfulness, and other evidence-informed modalities. My goal is to create a supportive, grounded therapeutic space where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered to move toward meaningful, lasting change.
